So I took my glucose test this past tuesday, got the rhogam shot, then registered at the hospital. The nurse said if I didn't get a call from the Doctor that means all is well and I passed the test! So I got a voicemail thursday from the Doctor, saying that I did pass the glucose test but needed to speak with me. Of course we were worried something might be wrong, and had to wait until the following morning to call to see what is going on. So I called right when they opened and she informed me that I am slightly anemic and need to take an extra iron supplement. Whew! Why couldn't she just say that on the voicemail though instead of making us worry for a whole night! Well, maybe these supplements will help with my fatigue =)
Jason left for Moscow today for only a week this time. I'm hoping to get a lot done while he's gone. I'm planning (more like hoping) to get the nursery primed and painted, order furniture for her room (Disney's Princess line), weed our flower beds, and do lots of organizing of our cabinets and closets. Oh and more painting in the computer room. I'm supposed to get my hospital bag packed and ready by now, too!
My stroller finally arrived this past week! It is way cool. I will post pics when Jason gets home (he has the camera). It is the Graco Rittenhouse Quattro Tour. LOVES IT!
Another thing that I accomplished this week.... I can now use my belly as a table! It's great, I can just set my plate or whatever on top of it and eat... no hands needed! hahaa!! Pics to come soon!

Did You Know...
DID YOU KNOW a woman's brain shrinks during pregnancy?
Anita Holdcroft, an anesthesiologist at London's Royal Postgraduate Medical School, found that women's brain's shrink 3-5% during pregnancy. This may impact learning and memory. In cognitive tests, more than 70% of women had difficulty learning new information during their ninth month of pregnancy. Performances during pregnancy were 15-20% lower on spatial and verbal tests. Six months later, the brain, and scores, returned to normal. The pituitary gland increased in size during pregnancy.
DID YOU KNOW the youngest mother ever was a five year old girl in Peru named Lina Medina, who gave birth to a baby boy by C-section in May of 1939?
