Today I had my 30 week appt. For the past few months I've been having a dull aching pain in a certain spot in my back, so they decided to do an ultrasound on my organs to make sure everything was ok and so far so good. Probably just a skeletal muscular issue. My blood pressure was low, whatever that means. Then I also got to see the baby again, but Jason did not. She is no longer breech!!!! I swear I felt her flip the night before. It was like she was all balled up on one side. I had heard that shining a flashlight down where her head should be might help her flip, so I did that a few times that day. Not sure if that's why she flipped. Let's hope she doesn't change positions again!
I get to see her again on wednesday for a 4d, hopefully her daddy will see her, too. Hope she cooperates this time, and keeps her hands away from her face.

Did You Know...
DID YOU KNOW a woman's brain shrinks during pregnancy?
Anita Holdcroft, an anesthesiologist at London's Royal Postgraduate Medical School, found that women's brain's shrink 3-5% during pregnancy. This may impact learning and memory. In cognitive tests, more than 70% of women had difficulty learning new information during their ninth month of pregnancy. Performances during pregnancy were 15-20% lower on spatial and verbal tests. Six months later, the brain, and scores, returned to normal. The pituitary gland increased in size during pregnancy.
DID YOU KNOW the youngest mother ever was a five year old girl in Peru named Lina Medina, who gave birth to a baby boy by C-section in May of 1939?
